Search & Destroy is a 3D, Third-Person Shooter, Linear Level.

Elements

Player : Health / Stamina / Weapons / Movement / Shooting / Interaction. Enemy : Health / Patrol / Aggro / Shooting. Environment : Doors / Sound, Normal, Event Triggers / Pickable Items.

Sequence

The Player needs to sneak into a Top-Secret Laboratory, locate and obtain the necessary files, and then Escape.

After creating the First Top-Down Document and brainstorming the Basic Idea, I began building my Level in the Engine.

Design & Thought Process

First, I created a basic White box with some basic meshes and some Simple AI Placement.

Top-Down Breakdown

The Player has Two Choices to enter the compound, after that, they can progress through the level by being Stealthy or Loud.

The Player has Two Choices to enter the Interior, after that, they can progress through the level with only a Loud Playstyle.

Additionally, on this floor, there is a Weapon that the Player can Loot and add to their Inventory.

The Player must Locate and Steal the Files, then find a way to Escape.
